Been playing around with ToonSquid (i'm in the closed beta for v2.0) and yea... fun!!
I swear if ToonSquid was available for Windows and desktops in general it would be the new Flash... You know... just good :P

Things are crazy busy at work atm... got some freelance stuff lined up for october though doing Moho stuff for a real nice indie project... so yea in the meantime still experimenting with finding cool styles for cut-out-type animation.
Doodled this girl in my sketchbook and spent like an hour vectorizing and rigging her... this is as far as i came

Moho for traditional animators – Using a little Alien Test Animation as a training ground
I've seen some cool examples of people using Moho as a clean-up and inbetweening tool for traditional animation and wanted to try it out myself as well...

Moho Clean-Up Progress:
Well... pretty much done with the Alien... some Frame by Frame effects and such but now it's on to the second lil' Alien that gets eaten (gonna be much easier...)
This is not redrawn frame by frame, rather the keyframes were drawn and then basically vector points manipulated to generate inbetweens (and some bone stuff...)

After failing to use Moho as a Clean-Up Tool, this is gonna be my second attempt. I talked to some people who already use it in that capacity and got some great tips and insights so hopefully this time around it'll work out better...
